Privacy policy

Last updated: 29 October 2026

DoomPause ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how you can delete it.

What we collect

What we do not collect

Your reminder photo stays on your device in local app storage. It is never uploaded to our servers. DoomPause uses Android's Usage access to see when an app you picked is open and how long you have used it; this is checked on your device and your app usage history is never uploaded. Your personal stats and streak are also worked out and kept on your device. Your list of chosen apps is not uploaded either; an app's name reaches us only as part of a pause statistic, if you share them.

How we use your data

We use your sign-in details to authenticate you and your subscription status to unlock Pro features. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

Third parties

We share the minimum data needed with:

Data retention and deletion

You can permanently delete your account and all associated server-side data (sign-in details, subscription record, login sessions, pause statistics) at any time from Profile → Delete Account. This action is immediate and cannot be undone. On-device data (your photo, settings, and personal stats) is removed when you uninstall the app.

Children

DoomPause is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
